Re: FreeBSD/Mageia self signed certificate error

I'm seeing this problem too.

This is the startup log from one of 4 domain controllers with the problem.

I've also copied the ca-bundle.crt from 7.4.42 before reporting here.

Re: FreeBSD/Mageia self signed certificate error

Just wonder, does 5.10.45 have the <data_dir> functionality for cc_config.xml? As you know [or not], the data section was moved by default out of the program files\BOINC folder for security reasons.

One day a greater than 5.10.45 version can be run on DC controllers [did you boot after the bundle update?], and that seems to have come, at least the check-in notes say the DC restriction was removed. Don't know which client version will have it though. It might already be in 7.6.3.

TODO: Block service install in the advanced settings dialog.

Have powered up the dual boot into Ubuntu 14.04 and ran all system updates since June 24 including a utopic 3.16 kernel, then booted again and allowed the 7.2.42 client to fetch OET1 work... no probs, not downloading, not reporting:

Oh yes you can move the data_dir as of 5.10.20: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=...e2638e9c23b3d536e4a365bf3

OK, let's continue the broader SSL error discussion related to the July 10 server certificate renewal here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,38190

Thx

Re: FreeBSD/Mageia self signed certificate error

I have not been able to transmit finished WUs since yesterday.

World Community Grid Scheduler request failed: SSL connect error

Looking at the address bar for this site I see there is a https error. Checking on it we find;

World Community Grid - View Thread - FreeBSD self signed certificate error:

This is not true of any otherWCG page I have open but it does make me think there is some outstanding problem across the board.

Is this just me?

Is there any suggestions for what I should do?

Is there any other information I need to provide?

Re: FreeBSD/Mageia self signed certificate error

See the post above yours ;>)

Do -Not- post here unless your issue is a) Not FreeBSD related, b) Not related to the general July 10, 2015 starting issue!
