Client will not abort old work units

I went on vacation for 5 weeks away from the internet and upon arriving I tried to abort the old work units only to discover that they would not abort, nor remove themselves. I even went so far as to uninstall and reinstall my software not once but 3 times in 24 hours trying to get things to "reset" to no avail. The first work unit says "ready to report", and the rest say "aborted by user". We have been home since the 13th of November and nothing is working at all now with the program after 11 days.

Re: Client will not abort old work units

edwinmoney, what agent version is this?

To get things moving with an internal activity counters, <on_frac> or <active_frac> possibly out of whack:

1) Reset project, but think you already did that.
2) Remove project, which will remove everything old.
3) Add/Attach project via the 'tools' menu, member name/password.

If things don't start working now, let us know. Then restart agent and post a copy of the message/event log. Normally work fetching would resume by itself after the agent has been on for a number of hours but with 12 days passed since, that's highly doubtful.

Completed or aborted, these results would not have been useful as someone else will have computed your 'no reply' tasks. Assignments expire after 10 days. Ideally when going away for longer it's best to set the 'no new tasks' and abort any that can't finish before closing.
