Difference in project priority [Resolved]

Is there supposed to be a difference in how projects are prioritized when comparing your WCG settings that has all of the projects checked vs. just having one project checked and the option to send work from other projects if none available is also checked?

Basically, this is what I was noticing. I had only CEP2 selected in my default project settings (which was set to only 1 work unit per host) and then checked "If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project." My intent was to make sure I was pulling CEP2 first on each system regardless of the number of threads and then let WCG decide what to pull from there. During the 10th birthday challenge going on, I was thus pulling the one CEP2 work unit and then pretty much all UGM work. Even my Android devices weren't getting FAAH work. The Android devices kept getting no work available for applications selected. Now, when I changed my settings by selecting each project, I then started getting a variety of work including work for my ARM devices.

Is this working as designed? Is there supposed to be different priorities? I'm just wondering so that I make sure to plan properly in the future. I have not tried switching back yet to see if it is re-producible. I may do that later.

Re: Difference in project priority

Well.. I went ahead and switched back just out of curiosity, and so far it seems to be working as it should. I will keep a closer eye on it. Maybe it was just a settings blip that just didn't take right.

Re: Difference in project priority

Well... settings seem to be working now. I'm guessing it was a fluke.
