Re: No tasks are availabe.

Hi,

Think you need 2.5gb although the system requirements page says different. At any rate the message/event log prints a reason why work is not sent. Do ctrl+shft+e keys to open the log view. Post a copy from start of log to where the work request is rejected.

Re: No tasks are availabe.

changed config to 2.6 gb RAM, still no joy

on the logs just says:
"no tasks available for CEP2
no tasks available for the aplications you selected"

No reason on logs why it does not send work I have been cheking, maybe its the cpu?

I only have CEP2 on this profile

Re: No tasks are availabe.

Go to settings > device manager and select home profile that is connected to the device. This related profile is printed in agent event log somewhere and either default, home, school or work. Hit the custom button and go to bottom and set the selector for cep2 to at least 2. This will override any bandwidth limit, though that too would be printed in the event log.

Please do post a copy from the message start to where work is not sent. We can then read what else might be the issue.

If you select for instance also fa@h in the profile and save is work then coming?

And yes, some have erroneously selected to not send cpu work through, or chose to only do gpgpu work by setting the 'Allow research to run on my CPU?' option to no. Wcg has no gpgpu work, not had any since quite some time.

Re: No tasks are availabe.

idea Lights on: Do you have the 32 bit libs installed? CEP2 does not have a 64bit version. Start reading here https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=470599 for solution and instruction which libs to pick with apt-get.

OMG your right biggrin

My debian wheezy amd64 did not have ia32libs.
The way to correctly install it is by issuing

dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt-get update
apt-get install libc6:i386

all done now ty very much

You should have a sticky Linux issues ;)

Re: No tasks are availabe - [RESOLVED - need 32 bit libs on linux]

Thanks for feedback on your debian wheezy sol. The system requirement page in help needs a little attentive reading as there the apps/platforms are highlighted, footnote 2 "Version for x86-64 processors is available", not marked against cep2.

Have a good solar panel crunch.

On a system that did receive cep2 in past! Override was set to 2 allowed, in case it was bandwidth. Neither that or short of diskspace or memory is being logged. Ugm and mcm come fine if added to the selection. Windows 8.1, jic.
