I lost my profiles today. All pcs now have the Default profile. What happened?

Are you signaling the technicians finally ran the ugm auto-opt-in script? When looking, see two active profiles, work and school, the work that's associated with fahv, exclusively used for android, still only showing fahv as selected.
The underlying problem may though be you joined an entirely new project outside of wcg. In that case that new added project only knows of the default project at which point that one tells the rest of boinc world: All others not needed, go delete them. Kind of. Where that bug is, try talk to the guys at the berkeley space laboratories. It's coming back time and again. |

I suppose QNC Taiwan has something to do with the lost profiles because I had a message on a pc (qnc isn't running on this pc):
----------------------------------------137 03.11.2014 00:37:34 General prefs: from http://qcn.twgrid.org/sensor/ (last modified 16-Oct-2014 23:26:39) 138 03.11.2014 00:37:34 Host location: none I'm just wondering that this happens now, because the last changes at QNC have been done about two weeks ago. Also for half a day this pc got only 2 wus from WCG ("Limit on tasks in progress). Normal behaviour after reactivating a WCG on this pc? ![]() |

The past experience was of profiles disappearing when adding new projects, not problem projects. A thread at boinc forums discusses that qcn might be on the way out: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=8633&postid=56632. Not allowed work from them to come to the android, with accelerometer, for quite a time.

BOINC is supposed to use the preferences that were updated most recently, so if you added a project or made a change to preferences somewhere other than WCG the client will use those instead of the WCG set.
