those are no GPUs, those are ASICs and i for myself think of it as a giant *** as it is virtual money with no real value. The effort used to do this would be better spent with doing something intelligent, like science. But everbody like he likes it.

yeah sorry, this was not against you, but against the cryptocurrency trend.

It would be awesome if it were possible to crunch wcg wus with such hardware. But this is utopian, because it would cost too much to implement such (used for about 2 years) algorithms in ASIC (FPGA would be possible maybe). But before this happens, there will be an OpenCL or CUDA implementation of the code.

What they don't tell is: what actually do you crunch DATA for? And what DATA is Bitcoin comming from...
