Linux client 6.12.22
Can I use the Linux client 6.12.22 and will it work with all of the
WCG research projects?

That should be OK.
I have a 6.10.17 (Dotsch/UX) and 6.10.58 on Windows running OK.
Best to install from repositories if you can or WCG if not.
