Afraid nothing you can do on your end. To make sure returned WU (work units/tasks) are legit they send them to two people. Once both people have given a legit file and they match, then they leave Pending Validation. If someone didn't finish the file or it errored on them, it gets sent to someone else. If several people never finished the file...we just have to keep waiting until someone does.

I've got a few from early August as well and just need to wait until the 'wingman' (other person with the same workunit) finishes it. Sometimes I will open BOINC, check the WU number, spot a resend (much lower number than the other WUs) and force the program to do that first.

They basically said they are fixing a problem, and as they don't want to waste volunteer time, are holding off on sending out new work and confirming completed work.

I am running MCM and FA@H until Clean Energy comes back.
