This is a first for me... I've been sent a CEP2 WU that has errored out 8 times before reaching me (It still hasn't been attempted to be crunched yet by me)...

When the server has sent out and received the maximum number of errors then points seem to be allocated. I have noticed that there are a lot more P Ver and Errored WUs at the moment. I'm sure it isn't just because the WUs are shorter.

After a work unit is in 'error' status a computer has its 'trusted' status removed and its work units must be checked by a wingman. Any subsequent work units returned will be put in Pver status for this check. Further work units sent to the computer will also be sent to a wingman. This will continue until 'trusted' status is achieved again.
I think the E224xxx units are the last of the old library and E225xxx units are from the new library. |

Yep, that's the negative side-effect. Even though after 10 errors the WU will be credited. Also, I think this is a bit of wasting power/resources just to prove 10 times that a WU is indeed bad. Maybe reducing the limit to 5 Errors would be better? |
