flodisar, What does the event log say? Does it show these results as running? Also, since your device is getting hot, you might want to go into the preferences on your phone and change the max temperature to something like 40C. I believe the default is set to 45C which should be lower than system specs. Thanks, -Uplinger The log says the tasks were "Resumed" and then "Suspended by user" when I tried to suspend-resume cycle. Not even restarting BOINC app helped. Elapsed time would keep counting but no progress - on any of those parallel tasks. I aborted them all and got new ones and they seems to run again. Phone is not getting hot but I have access to a table fan so it might as well blow some air on it I thought :) ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

On the mails, the 'my profile' says for the registered hotmail address:
Your email provider refused to accept an email from us for the following reason: said: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable (in reply to RCPT TO command)) You must enter a different and valid email address before we will attempt to send you email again. Looks like a wcg problem, at any rate not going to change my email address or the provider. ![]() |

lavaflow,
I can reset that error if you'd like. But do to it manually, change your email to something new like example@example.com. press save in your profile, then set your email back to your original one and save the profile. That will force the system to reset that error for you as well. Thanks, -Uplinger |

OK, cycled the address twice. A little fix may be needed to the hyperlinking. If you hit the save button, it confirms on a new page. The my profile link at left is dead at that stage. Only shortest way to return is back-paging.

Saved me opening another thread
.On topic, 2 long went fairly quickly but with a 193/Segmentation violation. BETA_ FAHV_ x3NF9_ A_ IN_ LEDGFa_ rig_ 0213278_ 0128_ 1-- android_fcbcf39 e Error 4/24/14 14:25:55 4/24/14 14:48:09 0.03 / 0.03 0.3 / 0.0 BETA_ FAHV_ x3NF9_ A_ IN_ LEDGFa_ rig_ 0213278_ 0130_ 1-- android_fcbcf39 e Error 4/24/14 14:25:55 4/24/14 16:03:09 1.25 / 1.28 10.6 / 0.0 May have been my doing, as was watching a virtual interactive tour to a museum. May have to set the cpu load percent lower again. Is 50% presently. It's a conundrum as the lower the percent, the more frequent tasks get paused, unloaded and loaded again. Maybe these wait states should be longer than the 10 seconds iirc. Currently it's either crunch during use or not crunch. No control how long to pause when in use and the percent cpu being hurdled. That was off topic again. |

Three WUs failed with code 193, for e.g.

Unfortunately all the 'normal' are going with the SIGSEGV error, the last 2 of now 4 total exiting while the device was truly idle. Two are still running with over 4.5 hours and a third just started after the last 193.
The only error result with returning wingmen had theirs too go out with 193. An onset indicator. The 3 shorts have no wingman yet. |

I have two new betas:
----------------------------------------BETA_ FAHV_ x3NF9_ A_ IN_ LEDGFa_ rig_ 0213278_ 0062_ 0-- BETA_ FAHV_ x3NF9_ A_ IN_ LEDGFa_ rig_ 0213278_ 0079_ 2-- They seemed to be running fine, but then I disconnected the charger (automatically paused computation) and then about 30 minutes later I reconnected the device to an outlet. Now when I checkcheck the status it seems that both WUs start from 0% again - as if no checkpointing had been utilized. Still, does not Boinc keep those WUs suspended in RAM? Feels a bit bad to lose all that progress. The log says nothing. The last log post was "Suspending computation" due to me disconnecting it from the power outlet - nothing about resuming tasks now that I plugged it in again. Very strange. I'm running Android 4.1.2 in case that matters. ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |
