How Do I Put a List of Team Members on the Main Team Page?
Unless I'm missing something, a roster or list of Team Members isn't on the main Team page. I managed to stumble onto the list but I would like others to, without having to root around, see a list of fellow members. Where is such a list?

Another reason for having a obvious list; I don't get email notices when new people join so I have to look at a list of members to know who's joined. Two people have recently told me they joined and they don't appear. I need to know this so I can tell them how to join the team.

Is there a way to have a list of team members on the main Team page (best)? Or, add a prominent link to such a list on the main Team page (second best)?

I don't think there is a way to list team members on the main team page. Howerver under the heading "Team Member Details and Statistics" you can sort and display all the team members. One of the sorts is "Status (Current/Retired)" which would allow you to easily identify new team members.

That link is a little obscure. Is there a place to add to the wishlist a request to put it near the top of the page and more prominent?

That link is a little obscure. Is there a place to add to the wishlist a request to put it near the top of the page and more prominent?

There is/was a wish list somewhere in the forum but it was long and only infrequently did items on the list make it into reality.

It is to be hoped that there will be improvements to Team functionality as part of a future website update but nothing official has been said in this respect.

A few suggestions to help your team prosper:

  • Start a thread for your team in the Teams section of the forum
My team is embarrassingly small (5 members, two of whom haven't added their names to the Team yet), so creating a supporting thread seems premature.

  • There are two links at the bottom of your team's homepage to aid member recruitment :
      • Thanks. Yes, I'm using those in my main recruiting advertisement already.

    • It wasn't straight forward to discover that your team is Houston GeoCaching Society so add something in My Forum Profile
      • Done

    • SNURK Globe sigs, which also display your team name, are a great advert for WCG and can be used in emails and on external sites. You can also add one to My Forum Profile>> Change My Signature so as to appear at the foot of your forum posts as many other users have (including me) wink .
      • Given your encouragement I requested one. I had considered asking for one earlier, but I don't expect to spend a lot of time on the forums so I wasn't comfortable asking someone to expend effort for me.
