I keep banging on about WCG communication, so time for some plaudits.
----------------------------------------The dissemination of the upcoming webcast has been excellent: This forum thread; a News article; a direct email; Twitter. The criticism noted in last years member survey - more insight into what's happening with our research, and better access to the information that matters - is certainly being addressed. Regarding the email, having previously commented on the subject line content, I have to say that Live webcast April 17th for Nutritious Rice for the World ticks all the boxes. Recent emails look good and their regularity can only help renew, or maintain, recipients interest in, and awareness of, WCG. The only negative aspect is that space could not be found in the standard email format for a link to My Team |

Hi Erika,
I was unable to attend the live webcast. I assume it has been recorded and will be made available for replay, but have seen no mention of this? Thanks. |

Yes, we always post a recording of our live webcasts in the News section - usually about a week later. We also send out an eblast when it's been posted...and tweet it, Facebook & LinkedIn'd it, and What's New...we haven't figured out a way to do smoke signals yet ErikaT |

Remains, some items of the technical problems nature which get updated do not initiate a new feed notice, neither in the agent. One has to go actively look what the status is. Minority reported quibble, since when the problem is resolved, you can open up the website or the agent is already mostly autonomously succeeding in uploading completed work and downloading new. The newest agents try to report results every hour, so how often does one still have to watch that part |
