what version of windows are you running?
----------------------------------------on my XP box, if I right click on the Start button and select Properties, then select the Taskbar tab, then select the Customize button, it displays a list of the various system tray icons and the default behavior. If I select World Community Grid Agent, it gives me an option to always hide the icon. Would that work in your classroom? [Edit 1 times, last edit by joatmon at Nov 19, 2004 9:29:26 AM] |

Check this thread:
Run while not logged on Scheduling UD.EXE to run at startup (Scheduled Tasks), will not show the icon. OTOH, you can't see the progress that easily (starting screensaver is a way). Remember to run the schedule as the user which created the Grid account. |
