Yeah, now they are keeping her for a few days. The doctor wants to make sure she's well on her way to being healed before she tries to go home again.

Okay, been a couple of weeks since we had any new teamies!
Have to go on a trek and see if I can pick up any new members for World Community Grid and the ole team! UGH ... rec'd a reply from one of my recruit letters
 ... they didn't know if they wanted to allow someone else that much control over their computer .... YEE GADS, how many times can you say SAFE! We don't want your information just your unused cycles ... but of course you can't browbeat the peeps you are trying to recruit. There, my vent for the day  AH WELL, will just keep at it .... Will not give up! LP, hope all is well, still sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. |

Things are looking better with Mom, but I'm sure having a bad week.
Health problems, and other things. Now I'm checking deeper into running Boinc and people running an optimized version on Windows, that gives an inflated benchmark up to 3 times what it is normaly. I've run Boinc a long time, but this is the first I've run into this disparage of points. It's really turned me off of Boinc, so I've shut down all Boinc projects for the time being. Recruiting can be a real pain. Some people are just too paranoid, I guess. |

----------------------------------------I've tried three corporations so far - no names named - and each one has it's security expert saying No. I think I have a run time now in excess of 10 years of crunching and have I recieved any untoward operation of my PC on account of it - Nothing, Zip, Nill, didly squat, zilch. Compare that to the browser they all use in these corporations... I rest my case. We've just got to keep trying Take care all Dave  |
