On my OS XP older computer, the WCG was running, but then it stopped. It doesn't say 'BOINC NOT RUNNING' or doesn't give me any indication that it isn't running. Would you please let me know how I can tell? It hasn't changed since the 6th and still has 15 results every day since then. Thanks, Maddy56

If you open task manager you will be able to see it running under the processes tab
(Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager.) |

Maddy, re-boot the PC and see if it re-starts

Thanks, it seems to be running by the Task Bar.

It does seem to be working. It is just so much slower than my Windows 8 new computer, I didn't know. The fact that it has been on 15 results for 8 days just made me wonder. Does that seem right to you?
Thanks |

As it is on XP it shows it is a much older machine and therefore a LOT slower than the more modern ones. It may also be suffering from a gradual 'clogging up' of the 'works', so a re-boot will not hurt
