Cannot connect to WCG server
Hi all,

I'm quite new at this, but have installed BOINC on a couple of my computers and have successfully joined several projects and they are working away on my computers. I also tried joining WCG, but since I set up the system several weeks ago I have not had any projects come in and today I tried investigating a little more. It seems that there is no communication between my devices and the WCG servers (however, they are trying to connect). I logged on and checked my account settings here and it said that I have never had any connected devices. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can rectify this?

We need to see the first 60 or so lines from your event log, please copy and paste them on here biggrin

Hello John.Duck.Sinnott,
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can rectify this?
First, Boinc Account Manager (BAM) does not work for WCG, so you need to register as shown here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewHelp.do

He may have registered successfully on the website but never attached his BOINC to WCG correctly.

That's why we need his event log as already requested by Scribe.
