The Boinc App on the Amazon App Store is 7.3.0 can someone kindly update to 7.3.7

pacerintl, also keep in mind that WCG is not in charge of BOINC in the App Store. You need to contact the developers with your concerns.

My father in law, when we do listen up, told me it's very unlikely that 7.3.7 would be put out in the Amazon shopping window since it's a "test" version! To install certain versions like 7.3.7 and now latest "test" build 7.3.9, you have to opt out of secure package checking, that is, on my Kitkat 4.4.2 and before 4.3 JB.

To add,: it appears that 7.3.7 was promoted to "Recommendd", with a header text of
Android/x86 Android version 2.3 and later We recommend that, rather than downloading BOINC from here, you get it from the Google Play Store or the Amazon app store (for Kindle Fire) Think the push to Amazon is more up the Berkeley lane. Wcg themselves have not taken that "recommended" for years, still peddling 6.10.58 and if alzheimer lite has not worsened, that page lost the link/paragrah to the windows 8 / osx advise. All those still not advanced to v7 have no notices in the client, yet the member news and known issue forums have been retired. Some un-synched timing of actions with the settings page additions one could think. |

They put it in the app store when it is the updated recommended release. Per Rom, they don't update the Berkeley page as quick or often as the Play store. So, yes if it is updated that way it is the current release. The exception is if you signed up for the Alpha testing which pulls from another source when updating.
