So I've been successfully running W.C.G. for years on my Windows laptop, but sometime within the last month, it stopped working like a screenscraver-- the screen stays on all the time. I'm almost convinced this is due to some change I made in settings somewhere, but there's so many places to look I can't find it. Can anyone help point me to some places to look please?

Hello JeffKnox,
Something else is probably the reason that your screen saver function has changed. There has not been any recent change in BOINC. Most people on the Forum do not bother with the BOINC screen saver but use a simple Windows screen saver. I use 'blank' now. I used to use 'stars'. In Windows 7 I can change this by clicking on Start - Control Panel and then clicking on 'Appearance and Personalization' main heading. Then under the Personalization group header, I click on 'Change Screen Saver". This lets me change the time before using the screen saver and change between World Community Grid or other screen savers. Lawrence |

Something has changed within the BOINC screensaver, at least with version 7.2.42 on Win 7. It now cycles through the master summary, master progress and individual application screen savers like a banshee.

Well now it's back to working like it was previously. Huh. Color me Crayola Confused. Never mind... thanks though!
