I am running this project on a nexus 7 tablet (android). Recently almost all of the results are either errors or fail to validate. The ones that fail are sent to an average of 5 other hosts that also mostly fail.
Does anyone know whats up? |

Ever since the latest update I get about 90% computation error on my Android phones
---------------------------------------- . I still have 1 phone that is running the version from last September and it runs flawlessly. I think they need to roll back the whole thing to that version till they can figure out where the programming went wrong.
One drop raises the sea.

Started 12.03. - four days ago - VINA again on a DualCore tablet (with Quake Catcher Network + WUProp projects), status of workunits:
- 9 valid - 3 invalid - 0 error - 3 in progress - 9 pending But I stopped running VINA at the QuadCore smartphone, too many invalids, however SIMAP shows zero errors + invalid, all valid in the last host history period (126 workunits). ![]() |

This latter dog litter has not been updated since about launch July last year. Happy on SIMAP, with latest client 7.3.12 too. In fact, never found the client influenced the outcome of them, always 100% valid on four cores concurrent. Not going to hobble a quad to a single core in hopes of getting a few valid off WCG on this platform. My Stats: 6.7 copies needed for every FAHV wu to get one copy to pass to the scientists. That was tracked on 110 work units. As for the open beta, still have 16 that were returned on the 6th and sitting in Pending. Apparently it was not OK on Friday to switch the validator on and allow the public to see the outcome. To add, the beta was just passed through the validation process and 15 of 16 were valid, one needing verification. An order of magnitude better than production and beta testing on 4 threads concurrent at that. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 17, 2014 6:14:44 PM] |
