I have been trying to join Compumatrix, and I have downloaded the WCG, Boinc program and it works great, but I have been having trouble with logging on to Compumatrix since I missed my 1 hour window time. We were having local troubles with Compumatrix druing Easter week, and I did not get my email validated and now the site, string/thread to get it accomplished again is dead, it does nothing? Just hoping someone could help?

Well, never had service like that, went to my email per chance and the validation email was there, wow, now that is service! Wonder why it went to a blank page? I will try login in a few minutes, just in case they never entered a welcome html, for that page?

I had to redo some things at wcg, registered in BOINC, clicked synchronize & it's working now. Hope what I did was right. I've already earned some points.

Finally made it!!. Got a houseful of old computers running now and plugged into WCG. I have a full time job now as official computer monitor. Fun.

Hello there, just checking into the forum. It's wonderful for WCG to be able to use our computers when they are idle and we are getting credits too. This is a win win situation. I am really glad to be a part of this.

I finally jumped on board, very interesting. Reading as much as possible here. Hope there will be a Multiple Sclerosis one like the Cancer & the Aids one. I have MS, its not a fun disease to have, it basically steals your life. There is a MS team here, no plans to leave Compumatrix team : ) |

I just joined WCG on 8/25/14 @ 05:38:09 (UTC). So I'm fairly new. It looks like my computer is running the WCG software OK. Looks very interesting! I'm only concerned about how to pay the taxes on the income from WCG. Have a great day everybody!  Eugene August 28, 2014 @10:11AM P.T. |

Just a quick question:
My computer has a 4-core CPU chip. So there are 4 microprocessors. Does the WCG software automatically take advantage of all 4 cores? So all 4 cores are number crunching at the same time, thus speeding up the processing of the data? And earning me more points as compared to a single-core microprocessor? Thanks! |
