For anyone who uses their Ipad to do remote login; I've been, surprisingly, very happy with the Microsoft Remote Desktop App. It's free and works very well.

Nobody mentions, but TeamViewer is multiplatform, running successfully on Linux and now on Android too, one way for the addicts to check in while mobile
. LogMeIn never offered a Linux client, thus gave up on them years ago.Not liking for any of these RDC vehicles to basically bring anyone who might get into their servers to the sign-in screen. For those naive enough to have auto sign-in or password remembered, right onto the desktop. One leaky machine is sufficient plus active homegroup setup. Know what you engage in. BTW, on Android start relearning handmoves and multifinger swiping to get down to the startbar and launch the GUI agent of choice, BOINCTasks of course, if the remote desktop is bigger than what fits on the Android. Bunches of TV options to make the mouse pointer follow the finger gestures and taps, even a help screen that visualizes the 7 key moves comes with the Android release. There's a BOINCStats cloud release, but been unable to get that running in a browser. In case any of this was not known yet. |

The big selling point for me on the Microsoft Remote Desktop App is it's the only App I've been able to find that works over Remote Web Workplace. Nothing else that I know of, for Apple IOS, does that.
