I abandoned nativeboinc and reinstalled the BOINC client - which finally downloaded some wcg task and is working on them now.

Hi Everyone,
I just signed up for WCG today and installed the clients on my android phone, tablet, and my laptop.

I have the following selected as projects
Mapping Cancer Markers
FightAIDS@Home
Say No to Schistosoma
Help Fight Childhood Cancer

and i have also checked the box to send me work from other projects if available.

I am able to get work on my laptop client (OSX) just fine.
However, on my nexus5 and nexus7 the BOINC client says "nothing to do. waiting for tasks..."

I am unable to determine what is wrong from the logs:

I've just installed from play store on two devices and they are both saying 'Nothing to do' Waiting for tasks...

HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy SIII

My account must be set up correctly (unless there is an Android section i missed?) as it is working well on my Ubuntu and XP machines.

I'm and android developer, so I'm happy to help debug/develop if i can find the time!

I think that yesterday was a short outage of FAHV work units the only one that can be computed on Android devices, yet.

It should be OK now, please check it.

I have restarted my phone (nexus5) this morning and it is still saying that it has nothing to do.

All my Android devices running on the latest version are not receiving work. The ones operating on older versions are still receiving WUs. The problem is obviously a glitch in the latest software download.

I get the same "nothing to do" and my android device is not listed on the web.
tasks 0
(i selected them all, projects, from the setup)

It says: A request for a scheduler is waiting, Formatting the project, Communication scheduled in: 23:57:45 (translated, not sure the right definitions in english)

Android device: N8000 (Galaxy Note 10.1 / 16gb internal / 2gb ram / arm cortex A9 quad-core cpu - mali400, Android 4.1.2)
