Hello people,
my BOINC client notified me of a version update: Current version: 7.0.28 (x86) New version: 7.2.33 They recommend that one does install Virtual Box, too, as some projects operate in a Virtual Machine. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=8732 Questions: 1. Will WGC projects require Virtual Box in the future, respectively will the run better in a VM? 2. How much drive space will this require in total? My current setup has BOINC and WGC residing on a 1.18 GB NTFS partition solely used for their operation. That space is more than enough for its current operation. (384 MB used) 3. Should I consider increasing the partition size and how large should it be to support all foreseeable future demands? Any help would be appreciated.  best regards Hyperion |

Ignore the update 7.2.33 has reported many problems, stick with what you have

There have been few reports on 7.2.33 implementation since early December when is was first released. SekeRob "7.2.33, personally, -not- recommended"
----------------------------------------So as Scribe suggests stick with 7.0.28 (x86) |

My recommendation is to upgrade to 7.0.64 (Win)/.65 (Linux and Mac)
