Likely a one-off, non-reproducible issue, but thought I'd report it.
----------------------------------------I was working E218190_351_K.19.C13FH6N3S2.00099351.3.set1d06 on my Windows Vista/Intel machine, running WCG version 6.10.58, LAIM. Dual processor, single CEP, the other core was running Mapping Cancer Markers. I mostly run set it/forget it, but happened to pull up the app, and saw the WU was running high-priority, about 17% complete, said it had 50 hours of processing left, with a due date 2 days out. The completion percentage wasn't moving. I started up task manager, and it wasn't getting any time (+/- 50% system idle). Plenty of free memory. Paused the CEP WU for a couple of minutes and then restarted it to see if that would help. No joy, still no getting any CPU. I rebooted, and the WU began progessing - finished up in about 4 hours. Didn't know how to gather debug info, so I assume nothing will be able to be done about this. Reporting it in case someone else runs into it, to create some sort of trail. Tasks have been known to become stuck and doing a reboot like you did allow them to complete successfully as you have seen.

I don't think we have an issue on the Harvard server side.
Best wishes, Your CEP team |
