Hello all. Happy New Year.
I am the captain of the team. I need to remove inactive members of the team. I do not know how to do it. Help. Poke your finger. How to do it. Where the management team? Thank you. |

Sorry, you cannot remove any members of your team. Members may leave themselves but their past record will still remain showing in your team stats........

The inactive members can not be removed from from your team. If a member leaves they will be listed as retired in your team listing. If they are merely inactive they will continue to be listed even though they are not accumulating any points. It is my understanding the reason this needs to be so is for auditing purposes for the researchers to be able to prove the integrity of their work.

Hmm. Two years ago, I did it. Maybe it was banned. Now the team will have a lot of "dead souls." ("Dead Souls" by F. Dostoevsky). I think it should be returned.

It has NEVER been possible, even in the old days of GridOrg from which WCG spawned, I know I was there right from the start in April 2001 |

Perhaps you are confusing WCGwith other Boinc projects such as Collatz or Seti where you CAN remove members.....but you cannot and have never been able to do it at WCG

Strange. But I did it in the WCG. I spent a lot of time. Link to the management team was somewhere on the right side of one of the plurality of pages. Later, I tried to do it again, but could not find how to do it. Now I have a great desire to want to do it and failed. Probably imagined removing two members. Okay. Topic can be closed.
