Thanks P . P . L .for the feedback. It just goes to show how much faster things have got since 2010. I must admit I thought 14 minutes was pretty quick 12 minutes is even faster. 14 minutes was with 12 MCM task running. One final question were you running 8 instances or 4?
Jim I will keep OT chat to a minimum. I did not mean to hijack your topic. The above question is the only one that I have. biggrin

Not a problem for me at all, since I have reported all that I really have. It is more a question of what everyone else finds convenient.

Re: Haswell is faster

Hi Speedy51,
I'm late to the 587x party after working through my cache, but I've just seen that they all completed in 8.4 minutes on my i7-4770K overclocked to 4.4GHz, 8 threads (MCM & FAAH/FAHV), Win8.1.

Man that is a lovely overclock you have. 8.4 minutes for windows 8 that is impressive. It would have been interesting if you have a task that ran for 8.1 minutes on the windows 8.1 tongue
