[RESOLVED] Help! I have many computers working fine, some get nrpc_failures???

I have essentially identical machines, most work, about 10% have a --get_state like this:

1) -----------
name:
master URL: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/
user_name:
team_name:
resource share: 100.000000
user_total_credit: 0.000000
user_expavg_credit: 0.000000
host_total_credit: 0.000000
host_expavg_credit: 0.000000
nrpc_failures: 7
master_fetch_failures: 0
master fetch pending: no
scheduler RPC pending: no
trickle upload pending: no
attached via Account Manager: no
ended: no
suspended via GUI: no
don't request more work: no
disk usage: 0.000000
last RPC: 1386958632.447374
project files downloaded: 0.000000

I noticed it isn't listing my handle under username, I checked to make sure it is attached, just in case I attached again and get:
Error -130: already attached to project

So, it is attached to the project, but never got far enough to get my username, let alone actual work to do.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (on Ubuntu 13.10), no change
I tried detaching and reattaching, no change

I am not sure what else to do. Please help!

James

I'm not the expert here, but my guess would be the line I've made boldin your log...

Unfortunately, I don't know what NRPC refers to in the log so can't comment...

Re: Help! I have many computers working fine, some get nrpc_failures???

nrpc_failures: 7 could mean # of RPC failures? BOINC requires this protocol to be installed and active on the OS, which by default it would be.

Is the system clock set correctly, then what CPU is in those systems?

And a how to on installing BOINC via terminal on Ubuntu

Apropos, there was someone posting a no name / team in the --get_state a month or 2 ago. Search forum to see what outcome was.
