Do the calculations. There is a widespread belief that the people at the top of the team page are receiving all the XRP and this false opinion is reinforced by the layout of that page. If you calculate the actual share of the payout received by EC2 users, it's much less than you'd imagine. The competitive nature of leaderboards has really brought out some bad blood on the Ripple forum, which is a shame, seeing as far more worthy computer processing has been done as a result.

At last! Someone verifies the truth! If you want a reference point, to achieve my WCG points has cost me $5,600. I hope that puts in perspective the costs and benefits ratios involved. I hope everyone gets some payment for their contributions, but the truth is that some people have donated their freely available computing power in their home computers, while others have taken on risk to provide considerably more. The rewards are proportional to this risk-taking.

OK, so I just registered, signed up for the team, activated the account then signed back up for my current team, Andrax and the account is still active and will presumably accrue RippleXRP credits.
----------------------------------------I'll check in tomorrow or when I remember and see how that goes. Since they say you can't decouple the accounts I figure I'll get the XRP credits and my team and moi will get the BOINC credits - win-win-win. Why to I feel like the rodent who just got the cheese from the mouse trap and lived to tell the tale? ![]() ![]() |

No, one of the rules says you have to be on the Ripple Team at 00:00 UTC, where the verification code is used to check up. No cake and having it.
And yes, as I wrote previously in this thread, decoupling is actually easy. |

https://ripplecharts.com/ Here you can check XRP and other coins. Currently a Bitcoin is worth 25950 XRP's and a XRP is worth around 0.03 EUR cents. That is, if I am reading this right. Check the Grid section the page. Thanks Falconet! Cheers! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And yes, as I wrote previously in this thread, decoupling is actually easy. Well, since I like testing rules, I'll wait until tomorrow to see. Personally I've found that a lot rules are BS. ![]() ![]() |

Check the Grid section the page. So based on that if a machine that did 140,000 WCG PPD would get 7 euro cents per day? Is my math correct? ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Movieman at Dec 1, 2013 6:58:12 PM] |

Currently, according to ripplecharts, 1 XRP = 0.049999 euro cents. Let's say that to get a XRP, you need 613 WCG points. 140000/613= 228.385 XRP 228.385*0.049999=11.42 € I think this is the way to do it but I am not sure. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Dec 1, 2013 7:52:40 PM] |
