Hello Wushunis,
Give us enough information so that we all can go crazy. Are you running more than 1 CEP2 job? Please post the first part of your Event Log. Troubles shared are easier to bear. Lawrence |

Hello Wushunis,
Thanks for the information. Here is a thread in which FAHV gives the same error -148: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,35756_offset,0#437339 It looks like this will be a mystery for now. Lawrence |

A little background on the CEP2 application. It is a compound application which means there are two executables, a wrapper executable that is first launched and monitors everything and the actual scientific applicaiton which is forked by the wrapper several times in a single run. The error you are seeing is occurring the first time the wrapper applicaiton attempts to fork the scientific application. That fork is failing for some reason. Has anything changed on your machine when you started seeing this issue? Any updates or changes to antivirus software or user permissions?
Thanks, armstrdj |

Hi, thanks for your help.
I don't use any AV software, just Comodo Firewall but i find an advanced rule in Defence + that prevent CEP2 to launch apps, remove it and now wait fot the next CEP2 job... I hope the next message is to say always it's ok. :) |
