I like helping to find a cure. All the help in the world isn't going to cure anything if real progress is suppressed in the name of money, for research, pharmaceuticals, and many other reasons. Do some research into the work of Royal Rife, way back in the 1930's,and you will understand the Game.! That's really all it is, but I'll keep playing along, for now.

I think you have it seriously backwards. There will be no real progress unless someone can make money on the drugs. Or are you planning to subsidize the patients out of your own pocket? The purpose of projects like WCG is to reduce the barrier to entry for drug companies, by doing some of the up front work for them. They can then take it from there. But it will still require years of work. If they can't make money from it, they won't do it. (If you can provide counter-examples, please do so.)

I have ben told that there are some promising project in curing cancer but they have a hard time to get any money for the research because there are no big money to earn in that case as they can not get a patent on the stuff. Therefore it is important to rice money elsewhere in this case to drive the research forward. Research driven by private profit wont give you all the possible solutions. You need to use all the possibilities.
