The Workunit Status pop-up only has the CPU time in the CPU Time / Elapsed Time column.

Hi NixChix,
I just checked my Results Status page. When I click on the Result Name, FAAH, FAHV, CEP2 and MCM all show the CPU time but not the elapsed time. I can not remember how it used to be. Is this a recent change? Lawrence |

I see this too. The Results Status page itself has both CPU and Elapsed but when you click on a WU name, that window doesn't show Elapsed. The CPU number in it does match the status page. As best as I can recall, I used to see both. Besides, the column header would lead you to expect it there.

I don't know when it changed. I noticed it when studying my results for the beta MCM.
----------------------------------------Only a check of the code behind the page will answer the qusetion if it was there before or did something break. Cheers ![]() ![]() |

Just confirming, but we haven't touched that page in awhile. Possibly so, but maybe something else external to the page that the page depended on or referenced changed.. just sayin'. Cheers ![]() ![]() |

Just confirming, but we haven't touched that page in awhile. Of course, it could be the column heading that changed .The first forum message I can find that shows the current heading "CPU Time / Elapsed Time (hours)" was by pirogue on Nov 15, 2012 8:07:36 PM. The last forum message I can find that showed a heading of only "CPU Time (hours)" was by ashes999 on Oct 22, 2012 11:39:36 AM. At no time can I find a quoted Workunit Status that gives an Elapsed Time figure .So the column headings seem to have changed between those dates. It could be useful information to have the Elapsed Time figures added, but otherwise for consistency the heading should be reverted to only "CPU Time (hours)" - another item on the wishlist. |

The 'Elapsed' would have been relevant to HCC-GPU results, since they were credit awarded on Elapsed. The only way to compare elapsed times would have been on the quorum detail, so think a visit to the HCC forum may reveal what was on, that project ending somewhere in May.
Of course, with aging memory, a search revealed someone [moi] started a thread on this in April http://http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,34943. Then the responding tech was reflecting on how ;>) |

The message Website Updates October 2012 is probably relevant to the change.
Added Elapsed Time to the CPU Time column on the Result Status page However, the column heading seems to have propagated to the Workunit Status page as well. |
