We have a few hosts that consistently report errors immediately, this causes the resends to go out quickly. Thanks, -Uplinger OK, that makes sense. Mine are all _3 resends. I just wanted to understand the rationale.

Ok, the automatic method for resends is to do 40% of the original deadline. .. .. .. Thanks, -Uplinger Original deadline is 3 days. 40% of that is 28.8 hours -> The resends have a deadline of 21.6 hours. Something wrong with your algorithm. The deadline seems to be 30% of the original  |

I also got only resends: _3 or _2. The _3 got a deadline of less than 1 day. The _2 all seem to have 3 days.

Majority of my non-binaries are 3's, but have a few 4's. All in all, all are on Win rig, none on Mac

The deadline seems to be 30% of the original Don't you think there are typos in this line "Ok, the automatic method for resends is to do 40% of the original deadline. There is a feature request to change that to 40% or original deadline, whichever is further out. In this case it would have given you a deadline of 3 days because these results came back with an error so quickly. Just a thought but one of you CA's should gently mention to the people who put the WU together that perhaps they should get to thinking on getting MORE WU available because the people on WCG in general are VERY big on doing cancer projects and these 10,000 WU will go faster and I mean MUCH faster than they could imagine.

Frankly, one CA thinks you make no sense at all. The first 10,000 have a short deadline [to get a fast verification set] and already the 10 day deadline results are flowing abundantly [but that's just one CA's observations]

I made plenty of sense based on what I knew when I wrote that BUT I'm glad to hear they are on top of this!
