I think all weeks in the challenge are based on cpu time.

Thanks TLD, so next week we continue to battle based on cpu time. It seems to be the fifth week, the Pure Week, that we compete on WCG points.

Eugene,
----------------------------------------Yes, next week it's CPU time, and the Pure is based on points. Gridcoin pretty much has it in the bag for the 1st spot next week. Last year we finished 4th in the Pure IIRC, which isn't bad considering the size of our team.

By the way since I didn't notice it before... 3 Teraflops, that's damn impressive!

3 Teraflops, that's damn impressive! Well thanks for the recognition guys, and all in a one bedroom apartment. But take a look at our teammate Trotador - up to 7-count 'em, 7 Teraflops! Must have an army of threadrippers!![]() |

Wow, your electric bill must be huge, and then there is cooling if you aren't using it for heating. Workstation3 in my signature costs me ~40 per month, minus the impact on AC.

I am lucky to live within driving distance of Micro Center so I've taken advantage of some very good special sales. It's a little embarrassing because I don't really need all this hardware but it is fun to put them together and try to make them run efficiently and effectively. So WCG gives me just the excuse I need to indulge in this "hobby". When we were trying to get to the 1000 year goal for Sawyer's team I really did pull out all the stops and had to be careful not to blow fuses. Anyway, the best machines I have are two 2920X threadrippers, one 2950X threadripper, one 3900X, and several 3800/3700/2700 etc along with phones, tablets and raspberry pis. Once we win those Thor Hammers (both of them, of course!) I'll need to downsize back to rationality I suppose.
