I have 8 pages of errors now from 4 of August:

Do all WUs error out? In my experience CreateProcess() failures tend to either be permission/access issues or another program is tying up the executable.. like a virus scan or something.

Try to limit the cpu to 1 core. it helps to reduce suspend/run cycle, that triggers a bug..

If this was based on Android exposure, please do -not- confuse the way those device work, or don't work, with that of a PC. An entirely different beast.
----------------------------------------The becay pointer is a probable cause... when there's much traffic, security software has been obstructive. Note that each time a new application version first arrives, the AV software and the like checks out, and if on auto-reject without response from user [and to remember the decision], that's where it goes, to the blocked box]. But, with the sparse info, only mention of 8 pages of fails, no context of success rate, it's hard to assess and becomes a wet finger in the air. But, with the sparse info, only mention of 8 pages of fails, no context of success rate, it's hard to assess and becomes a wet finger in the air. Agreed, which is where generic answers like "reboot, remove the boinc data directory from AV config, remove/re-add WCG, cross your fingers" come from:) |
