Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning Team

RTS, The luck of the morris to you, was member of Sheffield Uni Morris team back in the 80's. Like yourself my music taste is quite broad including classical (cellist & chorister at school), then went to too many gigs at the Marquee during the seventies. I have planned for when the 'Big Man' calls that they play Fairport Convention's Come All Ye (from the Liege & Leif album). smile

Ahh domonijo. Impeccable taste. I too was a chorister for many years (until the voice broke). I danced for Silhill (Solihull) Morris but foreign assignments put an end to that. I still listen to the 'Morris on Band' - Morris on, Son of Morris on, Grandson of Morris one etc etc I'm also a big fan of Def Leppard, Led Zep and Gary Moore amongst many other 'heavy' bands. I also enjoy music of the Andes and I am learning to play the Charrango. (When you live in Bolivia you have to like the local folk music as it is everywhere)

Good afternoon everyone. smile

RTS Good luck with learning a new instrument. I agree that local music should be kept and passed down through the generations. The strangely odd view of English Folk scene with people showing fierce concentration is wrong. Having seen Greek, Spanish and Zulu folk dancers and singers you can see their love of their history.

Re: Good morning team.

Hi team,

Happy to announce that I am approaching 5 years runtime for FA@H - Phase 2 and am switching back to the shorter OET work units for a while.

Unfortunately the 3D rending is resuming after a weekend break and will continue for most of December

I know it's not a badge-threshold, but I had this milestone greet me this morning:

Mapping Cancer Markers : 41,671,348 : 55,399 : 40:018:03:48:47

40 years of contribution towards MCM! biggrin

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning team. Mad Dogs and Englishmen - Go out in the midday sun! It reached 37 yesterday which kind of put paid to anything but shade gardening. Even though it is up to 30 in the house my trusty Macs seem to shrug it off and ignore the temperature. The sound of the fans does increase but not obtrusively. I'm getting close to my 10 year diamond for OET but just under 3 years of CPU for FAH2 until my next badge there.

Today I shall be mostly listening to...

Amadou & Miriam - Dimanche A Bamako and Wati
