Welcome to the new UK team thread as we crunch towards a 2nd Millenium of RunTime. The UK team was formed right at the start of WCG (Nov 2004) and has just completed it's 1st Millenium of RunTime - 1000:109:15:02:53 The 66th team to do so. We currently have ~110 active members and our immediate goal is to sustain a crunching rate of a RunTime Year per Calender Day . New members will find us a friendly bunch always ready to help with tech problems and to provide encouragement in reaching your personal crunching targets. Wheeeeee, finally one result in the top 500! 417 results returned - position 276. Sad to say that is unlikely to continue and my chances of getting into the top 500 for run time and points is really remote (unless I get my dream machine (MAC Pro with 12 core processor)

(never had mac) I got a water cooled i7 from my local pc builders for 1300 quid... maybe when my lottery numbers come up. ..☺ |
