Hi Team, sorry for not visiting the forum as much over the past few weeks with one thing and another been busy and will be so a little while yet..

Well at the beginning of the year we all thought 2015 will be a good year Team UK, an increase of new members, members adding more crunching power helping to reach Targets and personnal bests, etc.

Keep up the good work Team well done all..

Well my 60th birthday is in May and got a cracking early present of The Boss a 4930K to upgrade from my 4820K, its been crunching away since Saturday at 4.4GHz at 1.29Vcore with no errors reported so far.

Giving a bit more crunching power to the Team, core temps are only a couple of degrees higher than my 4820K:4.4GHz at 1.32Vcore > 64'c to 68'c and my 4930K:66'c to 72'c well pleased.

The 4870K will be passed onto one son and my other son will get the x58 from his brother so its a win, win all round.

I'm guessing it's only us oldies who can afford the electricity. I reckon I pay about £1.30 per watt/year, which is why I do most of my crunching on low power stuff, apart from my work desktop, where someone else is paying the bill
