Came across this well made promo vid produced to support a bid to partner Google and WCG.
----------------------------------------Youtube Vid and Thread I've been sceptical about the amount of effort put in to enabling projects to run on Android but with 40 million new Android devices being added each month maybe I should reconsider. ![]() |

@ Apis TT
----------------------------------------re your query on updating BOINC Tasks already downloaded, and more importantly, work done on tasks in progress, are retained after the upgrade. You're right though that nowhere is this made clear. I'm not certain whether tasks in progress revert to the last checkpoint but I think they are unaffected by upgrading the agent. |

Thanks jonnieb. The reason I was asking was because I thought that the upgrade was only "safe" once you'd got to V7. I thought the V6 -> V7 upgrade lost things, but maybe that was fixed at some point.

Being honest I can't be sure on that particular point, the V6.xx to v7.xx problem. It's been some time since I moved fom v6.xx. Perhaps someone will pick up on the point. It's on tachnical issues like this that we really miss SekeRob's input (complete with mangling of the english language).
