Three months since my last effort and I've just sent out 135 further email invites to addresses culled from GB idemtified members using an eddress as a User name.
----------------------------------------I will be pleasantly surprised if there is any response, since these Users are almost all InActive and have low levels of previous crunching. Worth a try though. ![]() |

So how come CEP2 is such a small percentage compared to the big two? Even lower when you look at WCG as a whole. Any particular reason or just peeps choosing their causes to support? Edit: Genhos I'm a coffee fiend, need two to feel normal haha I'm blaming the lack of a cuppa first thing at work as to the reason why the day started badly, fell away in the middle and the less said about the end, the better! On the CEP2 front, as I don't have my machines on 24/7, it does mean either keeping a close eye on the checkpoint times or using "sleep" mode to not lose any progress (assuming there is no loss of power, fortunately the laptop is fine on this front). Sometimes it means I suspend one unit after a checkpoint while waiting for the other(s) to reach a checkpoint to allow a proper shutdown. The current batches of work seem to be around 6hours which on previous batches you could be looking at well over 6 hours just to do one of the 16 jobs within then WU which certainly made it much more of a micro-management time to ensure minimal loss of crunch. Some good recent crunching from Couling And welcome aboard carlos.uralde |
