Evening all. Hope everyone is well.
----------------------------------------On the last stats update I achieved what should be my last milestone for a while as I crept past 50,000 WCG results, it'll take some time to get that many results for the team but here we go! |

Just so everyone knows, there is a post asking for new badges over 100 years.
----------------------------------------I guess the more people that agree, the higher the chance of WCG implementing it. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...005_lastpage,yes#lastpost ![]() |

Must admit I had forgotten about the HSTB, which is a little bad to forget considering they seem to be rarer than a hen's tooth on the end of a unicorn's horn! As for the 100+year badges, while I doubt I will ever get one there are many that will so it makes sense. Processors are getting quicker with more cores and so more units can be processed in a day which is only going to increase the daily RT. I know that my output increased when I upgraded to an i7 at home giving me 8 units being crunched at one time. |

Big milestone reached this afternoon, 200 million points :) And in the morning I'll get a D20 for OpenZika :) Huge achievement for the team DMNI! Must admit I had forgotten about the HSTB, which is a little bad to forget considering they seem to be rarer than a hen's tooth on the end of a unicorn's horn! As for the 100+year badges, while I doubt I will ever get one there are many that will so it makes sense. Yes using a Xeon Phi you can get 288cores, assuming BOINC runs and I've no reason to think it wont then you'll very quickly be wanting D200's, in fact less than a year. You'll not be inundated with points though as they're essentially Atom cores, still it might be worth a project if no-ones tried it already?
cheers,
