Just did a task count in a Linux processed FAHV log and compared to one posted for an Android task and it seems we're definitely tapping into the same -single-size pool. No objections... jacks the result count up for PC crunchers.

No confusion on the version number... testing the latest WCG labelled client on W7-64 (32 bit compile, but that's not relevant to getting 64 bit sciences. :D Kevin, this install went smooth with all the right options ticked in this 64 to 32 bit downsize). |

Rob - thanks for trying out the latest WCG test build. I'm running that myself (obviously). We are still drawing from the same pool size for all platforms. We have tested the mixed workunit size at an alpha environment but we have some work yet to do before we can release it here. Once we get an app that scales android -> linux/mac/windows -> GPU our hand will be forced and it becomes a must do. I'm looking forward to that day (although not eminent). Our next research project will be initially android + linux/max/windows although discussions are under way with the researchers looking at porting it to opencl.
