This morning during the launch of the FightAIDS@Home Vina application, we had an error in our deployment which resulted in some users being signed up for the FightAIDS@Home project incorrectly. The users who are impacted would have joined World Community Grid early in our existence and had the option "Please opt me in to new projects as they become available." selected.

We apologize for this error and we have corrected the issue that caused it. Unfortunately, there is no data in the system that would allow us to determine which users had this setting incorrectly enabled so we cannot correct the changed data. To correct this, volunteers who do not wish to contribute to the FightAIDS@Home project should check their settings on the My Projects page.
