We are starting a BETA test that is a little bit different than our usual ones. If you own an Android device, we ask that you help us test both the Scripps Research Institute VINA research application and the BOINC client on Android devices. This beta will require members to sign up for a Google Group to get early access to the BOINC Android client.

To sign up for the Google Group, please go to this link and follow the instructions. (Note: you will need to use your Google PlayStore login and password to sign up for this Beta test) https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/boinc-android-testing

This will allow you to download the BOINC agent on your Android Device.

After you install the agent on your phone/tablet, you'll want to choose World Community Grid from the list of available projects and type in your World Community Grid member name and password. If World Community Grid is not listed, please choose the option to "Add project by URL" and type in www.worldcommunitygrid.org.

For this beta test, please provide feedback about the VINA science application here . If you have comments or issues with the BOINC agent itself, please post them to the Google Group. You can look for other comments already by viewing the list here, or create your own topic here

The VINA application is used for the FightAIDS@Home and Say No to Schistasoma projects.
