Change the My Grid badge area

I think it would be nice to have the badges sorted by completed projects and active/intermittent projects. I notice my badge area becoming cluttered and active projects in amongst finished projects. Possibly even a way to sort those badges based on level or runtime.

Just trying to think of a way to move completed projects where the stats are no longer going to change out of the area where things are changing. My thought was under Statistics by Project to have a subheading for Active projects and all of those projects there (maybe even sorted based on runtime). Below the active projects have another subheading for completed projects and the stats for those listed below that (maybe these to can be sorted by runtime or completion date).

Re: Change the My Grid badge area

If you look carefully, they already are.

The three Active projects (DSFL, CEP2 & FA@H) are first, then the Intermittent projects (SN2S, GFAM, C4CW, HFCC, HPF2 & Beta), then the completed projects (CFSW, DDDT2, HCMD2, IADS, CEP, NRftW, HCC, AC@H, DDDT, HCMD, GC, HDC & HPF).

Within each of the subgroups, they're sorted in decending Start Date order.

What may be confusing you, is that HPF2 and GFAM are in the Intermittent category - that's so that the WCG techs/project scientists can confirm that all is well before completing off those two projects. SN2S is also in the Intermittent category - as they've temporary run out of WU's.

Re: Change the My Grid badge area

I guess a good question is why even show the stats for those projects that are completed? No chance of ever adding to it so just have the completed project area with badges. There isn't much use to have the link either to project stats pages that are unchanging. Instead have the badge be the link to the final results, conclusions, and status page where the scientist can post updates of where they are with the final processing/interpretation. Publications can also be linked to on those pages.

The DSFL in both my badges and yours is not first in my screen, it is nearly last at the bottom? confused

The topic is how they show in My Grid, which gb described correctly. And you, you're talking forum sidebar? Here they show in order of project start, except for Beta, which of course was first of first. The IIRC order on forums kind of follows the natural path of earning the badges too... that Launch order... They do for me. :D

Edit: One day when all projects have completed, nothing to be crunched left, or IBM pulling the plug on any new starts, the order on all pages will be per launch date for everyone.

Some of us stats junkies like to look at all the stats and, as they say in language class, contrast and compare.
