Re: Unrecognised http content-encoding

It's an IBM machine by the looks of the path.

Rosetta 2006 reference? Covered multiple times on the WCG forums and of lesser age, but gray cells fail me now, where / when exactly... some filter is breaking things.

Re: Unrecognised http content-encoding

Since gray cells continue to fail:

1) Add <http_debug>1</http_debug> as log_flag to cc_config.xml and repost messages.
(Debugging information about HTTP operations.)
2) Add <http_1_0>1</http_1_0> to cc_config.xml options
Set this flag to use HTTP 1.0 instead of 1.1 (this may be needed with some proxies).

Pretty sure knreed posted a sample cc_config to get this case into a diagnosable state.

Re: Unrecognised http content-encoding

Amazing, just 3 WCG forum search hits including this thread: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...=0&sort=1&rows=20 The 2009 thread links through to a proxy issue, specifically this one: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=24931#221644

Let us know if the solution is in the previous 2, then we can make it a ''not so very frequent' FAQ (as in a link to a thread where the successful fix is applied).

Re: Unrecognised http content-encoding

Hi Sek,

Apologies for the delay replying to you, the answer lay in this thread:

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,34527_offset,0#407282

Many thanks for this. Looking back through last weeks logs it looks like everything is working ok now (except for the occasional 'exited with DLL initialization error' which was covered on a previous thread)

Cheers

Oliver
