Suddenly, and for no obvious reason, the last eight tasks for Say No To Schistosoma have shown up as Invalid with very few points allocated. This only happens on one PC that I am using, the others responding as normal.
----------------------------------------I have tried rebooting the PC but to no avail. I have never had this problem before and wonder if anyone knows what to do to restore normality. Many thanks, Niv

 Now that you have rebooted, wait. If nothing improves, post the startup messages from BOINC Manager to tell us what your system is and then the error messages from My Grid - Results Status for an Invalid task. Lawrence |

Hello nivrip,
Your SN2S proceeded normally to the end before it was declared invalid. This looks like your result did not match the others. Did you have 2 partners, both of whom were validated? Better give us the information about your system. BOINC Manager prints this out in the Messages Tab every time you restart your system. Please scroll your Messages up to the beginning, then select the first 50 lines or so till it says restarting tasks, then click on Copy Selected Messages. Basically, there aren't enough CPU's of this kind to match your results to so they end up invalid because your results get compared to other CPU's. Anyway, you should disable all the VINA sciences, that is, SN2S DSFL and GFAM. Other projects should be fine. One Guess is that you somehow made it to single validation wu, can happen but not likely any more, as there are less and less of these boxes and the few of us left have given up on these projects due to this problem. once that happened you were golden until you got hit with a random recheck. I run several of thes boxes and I do not wish to run the large numbers of invalids required to get the single wu as every invalid resets the count to ZERO
