In WCG BOINC Manager, under Projects tab, the WCG project's account and team both show IBM. I don't recall changing it. But I might have. Time is the great memory eraser. [...] Ed Peters So you are an IBMer and you forgot to check the BOINC agent status when you received your new Thinkpad ! Since the official IBM platform is Win 7, by default the BOINC agent is installed and configured with project WCG and user = "IBM". It's a good idea, because all IBMers participate, even if they've never heard about WCG. However, if you want the future results to be registered as YOUR results and not "IBM" ones, you must do exactly what Scribe suggested : You could go back to being yourself. In Boinc Manager under the projects tab, detach/remove from WCG and then attach to project again as an existing user using YOUR username and password. From then on all work will be registered to you and you will be able to see your results..... ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by olivier3191 at Jun 9, 2013 8:34:19 PM] |
