Re: C4CW May 2013 Project Status Update

Many thanks for the informative, clear update. 'Getting to the bottom' will be a challenging task, but having come this far, I believe you will do it. The provision of clean water with reduced energy (and therefore costs) will be a wonderful outcome of this research. If you need more crunching, I will be here as I was for 1year, 144 days.

Re: Energy costs?

This is the calculation of potential cost if such amount of work will be proceeded on Cloud (Amazon, IBM,...) based on current prices (see HPF2 website for explanation), so the energy cost is already included wink

Cheers peace

--------------

O.K. under the assumption that energy costs in the US are only 1/3 of energy costs in Europe you may be right. Nevertheless the amount of kWh I calculated are realsitic, if not too low.

The point is: I personally think a project like "Clean Water" maybe worth it because you save a lot of energy if it gets to the launch stage. But I would think twice to pollute the environment for "Enigma" or "Primegrid", that's more or less "jewelery on a nigthgown" in my humble opinion.

Double Cheers and triple peace wink

Re: C4CW May 2013 Project Status Update

Good news.

But if no one has seen this before, how sure are you that it's a real physical effect and not just an artifact of the calculations?

Here's a wikipedia page discussing the 'phonons' effect mentioned in the previous update of November: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonon
