----------------------------------------I know the subtleties of English can be confusing and I know Sekerob has a great command of English (among other languages) but I believe the word for which he is searching here is "allude." Maybe knreed can elude on the distribution particulars As written, it is a little humorous. At any rate, thank you for the explanation. Cheers

We need to emphasize, once more, that the first copy of a task [of all sciences except HPF2] is not locked to any platform or card. Only the additional copies are. With all respect, Rob, I can't work out why you felt a need to mention this. I wanted to check if there was anything making certain units error out which is why I tested resends as well. Maybe we are reading things differently, but I just cannot see the relevance of your comment. ![]() Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

There are also C0xxx units being sent. I first saw M0, C0, V1 and V2 units distributed in November, 2011 so we may also see some of the Vx units before the distribution ends.

Was my comment and interpretation of what you said with "All GPU crunchers are receiving these ATI M-units." |

OK, Rob, my apologies. What I meant to say was 'All my GPU crunchers....'
----------------------------------------I can see how that omission makes the sentence say something different to what I thought I was saying. I have also learned in another thread that these M-units are the new units that were added in the last few days. I understand that there is also another new type beginning with C but I haven't found any of them yet. ![]() Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

No worries. As I speculated, there could be more bits and bobs coming through with a longer intermittent state.

Neither elude or allude works here. I think what he was hoping for was that knreed could provide more information or "light" on the subject. Therefore I vote for either "elucidate"or "enlighten", or we could continue with our new malapropism hobby. <snort>

It was a malapropism... the intended word was indeed elucidate. Thanks for the language refresher.
