Re: TEAM Vulture Central III

no problem with imageshack...it's the board's problem actually. wink the software it uses doesn't allow you to have clickable images....so we really miss out on the one feature that makes me prefer imageshack over hosting images on my own space...

Re: TEAM Vulture Central III

hosting images on my own space

Thanks mousie - wish I could get into creating my own site - fear of the unknown the main reason as usual.

Why does my 'Comfort Zone' make me feel uncomfortable?

Response time of Imageshack was slow, anyway.

I'll host my own because I can use my own redirects and squash the URLs to nearly critical mass. There's a 250 character limit in profile SIGs here.

What did you do with your time before I arrived? When I look through my posts here and at 'the other place' we seem to have used your experience and time so much! I'll maybe get into Austin one day and repay you with a very large beer
I don't do much beering, but even I found some local brew in Fredericksburg very drinkable. The last time I was at the Fredericksburg Brewery they had Lawsuit Lager and Not So Dumb Blonde Ale.

Re: TEAM Vulture Central III

Yep I noticed we have learned to fly but thought the Rangers blue text was preferable.
Sorta, but it limited the statistics colors...having to find something to contrast with both that dark blue and pure white. It's tough to find a color except very dark or black that will show up on it.

The numbers you have on your box now are very readable, and the black shows up even better than before. The bright blue member and team would have been hard to read on the other one. I tried it.

Pastelization actually works best for this sort of thing, overall, if the background starts out with dark colors. Another way would be to stay very dark overall, and use light text. That white cross makes that hard to do.

smile Good Evening Retsof, Sir!

smile Here is a Little Gem of a tip for you
Try removing the http:// from all your URL's and IMAGES in your Signature
laughing You will save another 56 Characters which I am sure you will find a use for
biggrin All your URL's and IMAGES will work without being proceeded by http://

Enjoy

...might just do that. It's a force of habit to keep my own prefix from adding to another URL in my webpages.

will have to do that later in Win98....nasty sig change button mouseover problem in Win2000 and WinXP
